The mayor's plan would only decriminalize minor pot possession for young adults in three London boroughs, but UK government officials have already condemned this modest reform.

The Michigan Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP) will be printing patient/caregiver pictures on their respective registry cars starting immediately.

MMMP reports that the cards will have a photo of the individual on their card provided by the Michigan Department of State every time a new card is printed.

A new technology is allowing one company to produce full-spectrum cannabis without growing the plant itself.  Sounds like something out of a science fiction movie, but it’s very real. In what could be a global first, this week, a publicly traded Canadian-Israeli biotech firm company, BioHarvest Sciences, will announce that it has managed to produce at least 10kg of full-spectrum cannabis without the plant itself.

The other kind of redemption is for others. In addition to forming partnerships with some of the best cultivators in the state, Basore is also focused on raising awareness, funds and other resources for about 1,200 people still serving time in Michigan’s prisons for pot-related charges.

"The Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) has identified inaccurate and/or unreliable results of products tested by laboratories Viridis North, LLC and Viridis Laboratories, LLC."

In the interest of public health and safety, the MRA is issuing this health and safety advisory bulletin for all marijuana products tested by Viridis  Laboratories, LLC (license numbers SC-000009 and AU-SC-000113) and Viridis North, LLC (license numbers SC-000014 and AU-SC-000103) except for inhalable marijuana concentrate products such as: Vape carts, Live resin, Distillate, Any other cannabis concentrate created through residual solvent extractions.

More than 400 Michigan pot shops affected by massive testing recall

The MRA released a bulletin Wednesday after it said it found unreliable, inaccurate results of products tested by safety compliance facilities Viridis North, LLC and Viridis Laboratories, LLC.

The recall applies to all cannabis products tested by Viridis between Aug. 10 and Nov. 16 except vape carts, live resin, distillate or any other cannabis concentrate created through residual solvent extractions.

“It’s a popular theme in marijuana use – the “entourage effect.” It’s defined as the broad-spectrum sense of wellness derived from consuming an unaltered or concentrated form of cannabis. All the natural chemicals found in cannabis are ingested simultaneously.” 

The state’s largest corporate cannabis companies – the ones who joined together to form the Michigan Cannabis Manufacturers Association – are trying to use their high-powered lobbyists to grow their market share by changing the law to eliminate caregivers altogether. Their proposed legislation was written entirely by their group without input from the rest of the licensed industry, or caregivers and the patients they serve. To them, creating laws that make it more difficult for caregivers to operate is good business regardless of what harm it causes to patients.
